Job description
Title Strike Co-Lead (non-Transport)/Vol Co)/(bit of welfare)
Crew reporting and liaising
- Report to Install/Strike Lead
- Liaise with Install Lead in order to know what needs to be part of Strike
- Liaise with Strike Lead/Transport to know what needs to exit venue
- Liaise with Vol Co-co-ordinator to work out Strike Volunteer resource available
- Liaise with morning fluffer re: sustenance for strike crew
Role
Along with Strike transport/logistics Lead, get the venue cleared after the event, of participants and of any decom structures, décor etc LNT as far as possible except for trash
Responsibilities
- Be sober(ish) at event close until everything is ready for transport- this should be from 6am-about 7.30/8am
- Gather Strike volunteers and do a brief of what needs to be taken down
- Allocate and send strike volunteers to do jobs
- Be visible go-to point for strike volunteers and themecamps
- Help get participant stragglers get home safely
- Direct where things need to go into which piles for transport to which destination, label them if unclear
- Start a Lost property box, deal with it – decide with other strike lead who will deal with it
- Once structures and décor down, and people gone, and all that’s left is piles of stuff for transport, go home.

Have fun, don’t get too wasted, stay awake
After Event:
Stay awake and kick ass as per list of responsibilities above.
Person Specifications (Skills and qualifications):
- Stay awake and relatively sober till 8am, although you can go home and come back.
- Not mind the smell of old sweat and stale beer
- Very good people skills and patience.
