This page covers what to expect getting in and around the venue — routes, step-free access, quiet spaces, and more.
We check it against the venue every year and update it closer to the event, so some details may shift until then.

VENUE USABILITY/ENVIRONMENT

Theme camp takeovers will vary by area — more details and likely activities/content of each room will be shared soon.

General Info and map – as of Nov 2025.
The Cause is a multi-space venue with outside space and 6 indoor rooms. Surface material, condition, and lighting are highly variable throughout the venue.
Measurements: approximate minimum tread length, maximum step height, required steps to reach the next level, and minimum doorway/corridor width (not whole passage width).
Reach out to us at inclusion@londondecom.org with any other questions!

Entrances & Exits
The entrance is the sloped concrete vehicle entrance under the arches, with dropped curbs and an uneven surface.
If you have accessibility requirements, please identify yourself to a Decom greeter, gate volunteer, or venue staff, and we can provide temporary seating if you’re in the queue.
Each of the 3 entrances to the indoor rooms has a manual door.

Sensory Info & Welfare
We have asked performers not to use strobe lighting, but there may be bright lights, lasers, and smoke machines used throughout the night. Rooms will definitely be strobe-free. More on the likely activities in each room soon.
There will be loud spaces — please bring earplugs if they help you. There will be chilled-out spaces if you need a break from festivities. There’s also ‘Haven’, a Welfare/Chillout space with step-free access, seating, calming decor, and volunteers to provide tea.
Fully trained medics are available at all times. Just flag down a Ranger or member of the venue security team if you need one.
All doorways between rooms are wide enough for wheelchairs, and the flooring is nearly all concrete.
